A cobblestone is the equible yardstick to compare contribution of computer calculating power to BOINC Projects.

My 100,000 Cobblestones are distributed between my BOINC Projects

Well I have finally got round to doing a clean re-install [3rd] of windows on a new larger harddrive. in fact I’ve just about made the computer ready for Vista. (side effect)

I am in fact considering moving to Vista probably when Service Pack 1 is released or maybe sooner.

I got around to writing a batch file for applying many of the updates that have obviously been released. I also found more than a few other updates and added them as well.

So everything looks nice through the window and I might admire the view

OK I’ve Almost got DVD Playback on my Linux half. I say almost as I can play DVD chapters (big improvement) however I cannot yet navigate simply through the DVD. (select chapters or have it play sequentially through chapters

That might be because of the players [Totem and VLC]

I’ll need to look into some other DVD Players available on Linux but this is a big step forward

Captain ASCII

Well It seems Keyboards breakdown too. Perhaps much slower though just a suddenly as any other piece of computer hardware.

Suddenly in the middle of my work I lost access to the a (and also q z and 1) one advantage was that I only really needed the a.

And thank goodness for Captain ASCII he meant I could still get A (65) or an a (97) but it really slowed me down but I am glad that some other characters did not follow a’s example
