I made some cosmetic changes to the Simutrans Reference Material website today. These cosmetic changes almost didn’t happen but I found the absence of the graphic that almost made it an absolute mess.
I’ve moved the major links on the site to download the Reference Manual and the Starter Guide up their respective pages.

A new revision of the Starter Guide is out this week.
Writing about the content and features of Simutrans 99.17. It is relevant for anyone you obtains a copy of simutrans from Sourceforge.net.

Reference Manual 3.03 Bits and Bobs

Well I actually started writing this particular revision last week and I am working methodically through it.
So far I have updated the Keyboard Shortcuts to include Map Rotation and the Options Menu I have updated information about New World Setting Limits I am part way through Factories and the Simutrans Economics I have started Vehicle [...]

New Revision for 2008

After taking a couple of months off I have decided I am ready to being drafting the next revision of the Simutrans Reference Material [Reference Manual].
I will be releasing Reference Manual 3.03 sometime in January 2008

Pause Simutrans Reference Material

I have the September Revision ready for later this month and I plan to take a break from writing any more Material on Simutrans for a few months.
I think the next revision I will release will be January 2008

Simutrans Reference Material 3.x

I have finally released the Third edition for the Simutrans Reference Material both the Starter Guide (3.00) and the Reference Manual (3.01) have a 3.x version number.
After replacing the Reference Manual *.Zip file You now get Reference Manual 3.01 or Starter Guide 3.00 depending on which document you download

Reference Manual 2.07 Finished

I finished The Latest Version of My Simutrans Reference Manual. It has the things I wanted to Add to the previous version but couldn’t as I ran out of Time. As Well as fixing a few small errors.
I wonder how many people noticed those??
Basically It is what 2.06 should have been

Simutrans Reference Manual 9 revisions [aka 1 year] old

I released Edition 2.03 or ninth revision on 27th October and that means the Reference Manual is now 1 year old.
Still much to do already planning revision 10

Hyperlinks were fast

Well when I went to 2.00 for the Starter Guide I decided to brave adding hyperlinks to the Table of Contents. I could have added them 6 months ago because it took me only 20 seconds to create them.
They now at least makes it easier as a local resource.
